About Methodwright
Methodwright builds practical automations that get repetitive admin off an owner's plate without hiring a full-time employee or learning a complicated new system. We start with invoicing, payroll prep, receipts, follow-up, job costs, and owner reporting.
Founded in Ontario by product designer and software builder Galen Hogg. Why Methodwright
A wright is a maker. Methodwright builds custom automations for the necessary work that does not directly serve a customer: sending the invoice, checking the hours, filing the receipt, following up, and spotting the cost overrun.
We begin by watching how the task actually happens. Then we use the smallest amount of technology needed to make it faster and more reliable, usually around the tools the business already knows.
AI may help behind the scenes, but it is not what we are selling. We are selling time back, faster cash, fewer mistakes, and a business that is easier to stay on top of.
You should be able to explain what we built in one sentence: “When the job is finished, my invoice is prepared for me.”
Before we build, we agree on what should improve: hours saved, invoices sent sooner, fewer missed costs, or problems caught earlier.
We remove repetitive preparation and checking. You keep control of pricing, payroll, payments, customer relationships, and the craft of the business.
If a new dashboard, login, or routine is not necessary, we do not add it. The goal is fewer things to manage.

Founder-led by design
The person who listens to how the work happens is the person who designs and builds the fix. Early Methodwright projects stay deliberately small and direct so nothing important gets lost between a sales call and the finished result.
